Anna Eskamani has been a member of the Florida House of Representatives since 2018, representing the 42nd district. She made history as the first Iranian-American elected to any public office in Florida and has supported issues of economic justice, environmental protection, equality for all, and funding for public schools.
Rita Harris went from being a mother and community activist to being the State Representative for Florida House District 44 in 2022. She is a member of the Ethics, Elections & Open Government Subcommittee, and is a co-sponsor of a bill to provide for the enactment of an agreement among states to elect the President by national popular vote.
