FFDI, in partnership with the League of Women Voters of Sanibel, invites you to a timely virtual discussion examining the first year of the current administration and what it signals for America’s democratic institutions.

The program will feature Philip Lacovara, former Deputy Solicitor General of the United States, counsel to the Watergate Special Prosecutor, and past president of the District of Columbia Bar, offering a legal and historical perspective on the challenges ahead.

*Wednesday’s program will open with political consultant Bob Schaeffer providing an update on current Florida Legislative activities impacting democracy and freedom. We will conclude with an engaging, interactive Q&A with our guest presenter.*
